Bellingham, WA - Property owners take legal action against City of Bellingham over short-term rental restrictions

Normal, IL - Normal council approves change to short term rental rules
The council went forward with the proposal to ban new STR permits in R1 and R2 zones and phase out existing permits in five years. Good luck to the owners there in fighting this, and let such a thing never happen in Newport!
Green Bay, WI - Sister Bay short-term rental owners win court case against village's denial of STR license
The town tried to retroactively apply new zoning laws to an STR owner, who took them to court and won! Congrats!
Forest Hills, NC - Forest Hills passes new short term rental rules
This city has put into place new regulations which on its face seem reasonable. Well run STRs are not a burden on neighborhoods.
