The Newport Beach Short-Term Rental Alliance is dedicated to advocating for the owners and managers of short-term rental properties in Newport Beach, our neighbors in the community, and the small businesses whose successes are supported by our guests.

Meet the Team

  • Aaron Batley

    FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

    Aaron was born in raised in Newport Beach, CA. Growing up here and being an ocean lifeguard for the City for many years, Aaron infuses his passion and love for his hometown directly into his business, Newport Beach Vacation Properties (NBVP). After acquiring Burr White Realty in 2024, NBVP is now the largest short-term operator in Newport Beach. Aaron is the founder of the Newport Beach Short-Term Rental Alliance.

  • Hank Lambert

    TREASURER

    Hank Lambert is Founder & CEO of Arrival Getaways and former Vacasa executive. With extensive experience in business development and operations, and an MBA from USC, he champions responsible short-term rental practices that strengthen Newport Beach’s economy, neighborhoods, and community partnerships.

  • Don Abrams

    SECRETARY

    After careers as a Federal Prosecutor and Business CEO, Don purchased a small brokerage on Balboa Island in 1998 and made it into Abrams Coastal Properties.  Today Don sells between 30% and 50% of  all homes sold on the Island and his firm manages about 60 Island homes.  

  • Regina Oliveros

    Membership Manager

    After a decade of success in real estate, Regina embraced a new challenge in 2025: the short-term rental industry. Recognizing the need for strong advocacy, she became a driving force behind the development of this alliance. Within the first six months, Regina quadrupled participation and continues to unite stakeholders across the industry. Her leadership ensures a balanced and fair collaboration between those who benefit from short term rentals and the City of Newport Beach, safeguarding the legacy of this community.
